The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens course trains employees to protect themselves and others from workplace exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials. It fulfills OSHA training requirements when paired with site-specific instruction.
This course is specifically designed for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens. Common professions include: Correctional officers and security guards; Childcare workers and school personnel; Tattoo artists and fitness club staff; and Hotel housekeepers and maintenance workers.
